When you use the GTXT software with Outlook, you can use the contacts you already have to send messages to mobile phones. You can also schedule the sending of a message at a particular time or recurring multiple times in the future (for example every Sunday night).

You can link the GTXT software to a database. Without programming, you can create a message that uses fields within the database and send it to a contact whose phone number is in the database. This creates a custom message that the GTXT software will send at a scheduled time or based on a change to a field in the database.

This software allows you efficiently to contact customers or employees without making a phone call that might be intrusive. Examples of such use are dentists who want to remind customers of an appointment, or garages who want to send a message to inform customers that their car is repaired and ready for collection. Trucking companies can use the software to send messages to drivers, and produce resellers can send messages to farmers known to have certain goods.
